PRAIRIE STYLE & A CHINESE SCREEN

If you have visited any of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes, you are aware that he integrated stained glass into many of his architectural designs. Having visited Oak Park in Chicago and Frederick C. Robie House at the University of Chicago, three of these geometric windows are inspired by Wright's designs.

The first piece, Prairie Style Blue and Green with Earth Tones, is similar to its pair, Prairie Style Green and Purple, but with color and texture differences.

The third piece, Prairie Style Blues and
Greens, is a stand-alone with many of the Wright geometric features, tiny squares, and triangles.

The fourth piece, Prairie Style with Bold Reds, Yellows, and Swirls, is simple but introduces a nice effect of swirls that travel through the squares giving it a special unique appearance.

The last one, Chinese Art Screen Design from Shanghai in Reds, Blues, and Cream Tones, is a pattern I observed in a museum of Chinese room dividing screens, and thought it would look great in a stained glass hanging piece.
